Most “specials” come around every few weeks. These five don’t. Each week we go through Szumark’s price history to find one product from each store that is hardly ever discounted, so you know which deals are actually worth acting on.
Prices are for NSW and were checked on Wednesday 7 October 2026. Specials can end or vary by store, so check the product page before you head out.
Coles: Ziploc Sandwich Bags XL Resealable 30 Pack
$2.20 (was $4.40) – save 50%
This is the standout of the week. Ziploc’s XL resealable bags have not had a discount of any kind at Coles since September 2024, and the last time they were half price was February 2024. At 7 cents a bag, it is a good time to stock the lunchbox drawer.
Aldi: The Fishmonger Fresh Tasmanian Salmon Fillets Skin Off 2 Pack 260g
$9.99 (usually $12.99) – save $3
Aldi rarely moves the price on its fresh salmon. It has sat at $12.99 for most of the time we have tracked it, with one short dip to $11.99 in July. At $9.99 as a Super Saver, this is the lowest price we have recorded.
Priceline: Revlon ColorStay Pressed Powder Light 8.4g
$20.00 (was $40.00) – save 50%
Priceline cosmetics sales tend to be short, and this one is no exception. Since we started tracking it in January, this pressed powder has been on special for just three days. Half price matches the best we have seen.
Chemist Warehouse: Nexcare Ultra Stretch Flexible Comfort Lengths 6cm x 10cm 10 Pack
$4.99 (was $8.09) – save 38%
A first aid kit staple at the lowest price we have recorded. It is only the second time we have seen these on sale, and the previous one, back in March and April, was $5.79.
Woolworths: Polident Hold & Seal Denture Adhesive Cream 40g
$6.90 (was $11.50) – save 40%
Not a glamorous pick, but a useful one if it is on your list or a parent’s. Over the past two years this has been on special only about 8% of the time, and it is the first discount since March.
How we pick
Szumark tracks daily prices across Aldi, Chemist Warehouse, Coles, Priceline and Woolworths. Weekly Finds highlights one product per store that our history shows is seldom discounted, and we never feature the same product twice. Search any product on Szumark to see how often it goes on sale before you buy.
